If Dirt Is a Measure of Happiness

I must have two of the happiest children on the planet. Here's how they spent their Saturday afternoon:

I bet they loved it- I wouldn't know 'cuz my mom would never let us get that dirty- the house was messy enough without our tracking mud in. You're a fun mom!!

Look at your beauties! I'm happy just looking at them.

How fun! I loved playing in the mud, almost as much as the boy and the girl seem to.
I can't wait for Josef to want to do this!

Hee hee, so cute. Hey, people pay good money to be slopped with mud at spas, and you are wisely letting your kids get free skin care. ;)

Have they gotten to the point of making mud pies? Mmmmm, rich and creamy, with a bit of crunchiness!

Do you also enjoy dabbling in mud yourself - like pottery, for example?

Marc, they haven't made mud pies, but they cook plastic bugs in their toy kitchen. Nothing says, "I love you." like a piece of plastic cake with plastic bugs sprinkled on top, you know.

And no, I've never been potter or anything. I've taken a few classes, but I've found that I have no talent for creating in 3D.
