Babies, Babies Everywhere

My friend for whom I was babysitting a week ago had her baby, by the way. A delicious girl, whom I haven't met yet, because I've been a bit sick. But I'm taking them split pea soup and other stuff tomorrow.

And then there are all these other babies in the works. I think I said I was probably done with three, but that longing to feel a squirmy little one inside and hold another newborn is extremely strong.

The sleepless nights and the swollen misery do have some discouraging power, but these children of mine can be awfully cute.

Oh I could just eat them up!

I think you should try to create a boy that looks more like your middle girl. Since the boy and the baby look quite a bit alike, that is. And why not just keep trying until you succeed?

I have the baby bug something awful right now. Really, really do.

Those are some extra-cuties you have there! I'd love to see you have a boatload of babies, but I'm not the one who'd have to look after them. All you can do is pray about it and find agreement with your husband, since he has a part in it too.

Your kids are beautiful!

One good thing about starting late: even if we keep popping 'em out, there are only so many more we can have- we ought to at least be able to feed 'em all! Of course, even though you didn't start late, yours are spaced a little more sustainably. I'm sure Paul will be pushing for a year or two after #2 comes before we try for a girl (well, again)!

Such a bunch of cuties! And that Boy has the biggest and best smile!! (I think I've mentioned before that I have a 5 year-old unmarried daughter... :) )

As for me, I am definitely done. It's important to know one's limits. And I am definitely there.

Well, the kids you have now are very precious and exceedingly adorable. Good job!

I think you better keep them. They're awfully cute.

Sometimes when mine come back with the line, "Yeah, but I'm cute." when they've done something wrong or stupid, I say, "When you're asleep."

My girls are three and a half years apart. Long enough for me to forget what I didn't like about being pregnant. We stopped with two because both of them almost killed me, literally. Mr. Mayhem didn't want to be a single father.
