And There Is Much Rejoicing
And There Is Much Rejoicing
The Boy seemed well enough to send back to Hippie German School this morning. He's thrilled, even if this is quinoa snack day (his least favorite). I'm pretty happy about it too, because he and Middle Girl have been fighting non-stop for the last two days.
Middle Girl, though, is still sick and sniffly.
Gee, picky, picky--I remember LOVING it when WE got Peruvian cereal grain products in school!
Posted by: Terry Oglesby at November 10, 2005 09:14 AMHave you tried the quinoa snacks? I've heard about it but have never tried it myself. I was going to ask if the quinoa was organically grown, but that would be a silly question!
Posted by: MarcV at November 10, 2005 11:27 AMSilly indeed, Marc. Of course it was organic.
I have not tried the quinoa. They have a different snack for each day of the week. Monday is rice and soy sauce, Tuesday is oatmeal with maple syrup and cinnamon, Wednesday is bread and butter, Thursday is quinoa, and Friday is vegetable soup. They also get water and apple slices every day. I've had the bread which is delicious and the vegetable soup which is not.
