Little N*d*st

I knew yesterday would be a strange fashion day when I caught the almost two year old streaking happily through the house, followed by the Middle Girl, who had squeezed her (admittedly petite) self into her little sister's clothes. I nipped that mad dash in the bud before any body fluids leaked from the un-potty-trained.

This morning, I went up to get the Toddler Girl out of bed and found when opening the door that she had again stripped down to a state of nature, wet her bed and was sitting happily in that bed "reading" a book.

Do they make strait jacket style pjs in an 18 month size?

Comments

Oooh, I'm sorry! When my 2nd was in the toddler diaper stage we went through several months where we had to duct-tape shut his diapers. Otherwise, the inevitable happened.

Perhaps it could work with your Toddler Girl?

Wasn't Girl One something of a nudist, too, at the same age?

Janis, I never said she (The Middle Girl) wasn't still something of a nudist...though at least she never stripped off a diaper and wet the bed.

It might have been all of 22 years ago, but the memories are fresh of finding DD cooing from her nap, dressed only in the alabaster covering God gave her, having removed both her clothing and her diaper and having proceeded to shred the diaper so that it looked like morning in the desert for the Israelites just out of Egypt.

Sometimes, too (as I am sure I have mentioned here before), I had the privilege of discovering that she had DISASSEMBLED HER CRIB, with the mattress lying at a jaunty angle over the tilted springs, but with the hardware neatly sorted. That latter bit was a girl thing, I guess.

Gives me chills to think about it years later. Funny what, at the time, a parent takes pretty much in stride...
