Feed Readers
Feed Readers
One thing I hate about Feed Readers -- they let people who might have blogs I'd love to read keep track of my blog and read it without my having any idea who they are. Who for instance, has me on their bloglines in Brazil?
So if you are reading through a feed reader and I don't know you or if you are a lurker hiding out there through some other means, take a moment to say hello. I'd love to know who you are, how you got here and all that.
I'm not in Brazil, but I normally read you though my feed reader.
Posted by: KC at October 29, 2007 08:40 PMOn a tangent, you might want to switch from Flickr to Webshots; Flickr automatically obtains copyright over every photo you upload onto their server. Webshots allows you to keep your copyright in its entirety.
Posted by: Christine at October 30, 2007 12:26 AMDon't be so sure, Christine. I have a bit of experience with Copyright law, and it's not as simple as you putting pix on their site=giving them copyright.
Flickr is apparently a Yahoo product, and this is Yahoo's Copyright Policy. There's no indication that you hand off copyright to Yahoo; the software and presentation may be copyrighted or patented to them, but they don't seem to have any rights to the images themselves.
And no, I don't even play a copyright lawyer on TV. I'm certainly not in Brazil.
Posted by: skinnydan at October 30, 2007 06:45 AMI found you online hunting for a salmon chowder recipe! The one you posted is BRILLIANT!!
I'm in the USA.
not in brazil but I know what you mean... I have Brazil, Hungary, Hawaii and New Zealand showing up as repeat visitors on my blog and I do not know who they are...
